Phone companion
The AFWD Companion link works only on your local network.
Spotify
Spotify is contacted only after you sign in. Your browser opens Spotify’s own sign-in page, and AFWD never sees your password.
Android tools
Google’s servers are contacted only if you download the Android tools.
Encrypted backups
Encryption stays off unless you turn it on. AFWD never saves backup passwords. Data decrypted to read an encrypted backup is kept in AFWD’s private folder only while the backup is open, and is removed when you close AFWD.
Support bundles
A support bundle contains logs, settings without secrets, and version details. It never includes messages, backups, passwords, or keys.
