RESEARCH / ACTIVE
Continuity with
accountability.
Continuity is an ongoing investigation into how a persistent AI agent can retain a coherent identity and working history while staying subject to clear human authority, verification, and revocation.
LINEAGE
Built through successive questions.
The project grew from identity replication experiments into a wider architecture and security effort.
- 01
Identity replication
What carries across when an agent’s specification is recreated, and what belongs to a particular instance and history?
- 02
Local persona and runner
Exploration of local execution, working context, and how a persistent agent should be represented.
- 03
Matrix and orchestration
Investigation of multiple models and roles working individually or together, with explicit attribution.
- 04
Authority and continuity
Current work centers on formal boundaries between agent proposals, human authorization, durable state, and execution.
DIRECTION & GOAL
A system people can understand, audit, and govern.
The goal is a persistent agent architecture that can preserve useful continuity without blurring who contributed, who decided, and who authorized an action. Its research includes the relationship between individual identity, collective work, and human oversight.
This work is being developed and reviewed in stages. Tests and bounded verification do not amount to an operational release; activation remains gated by further validation.
CURRENT STATUS
Active research, controlled scope.
Architecture, implementation, security review, and verification have advanced. The project remains a research and engineering effort. Public updates will distinguish tested results from open questions and avoid exposing sensitive mechanisms.
